Leon- Bettis -
I was born in the South Suburb of Chicago, IL by Yvonne Bettis & Leon Bettis Sr. Most of my life I grow up on the South Suburb of Chicago, IL and was recruited to play football by Carthage College which leaded me here in Wisconsin (Since then I have not looked back). Outside of my short-lived football career my parents kept me in house by purchasing me the latest computer equipment where I gain a love for technology. A large part of my life was spent with my sibling Nathanial Williams (Brother), Donny Bettis (Brother), Janie Bettis (Sister). Every one of my sibling made a major impact in my life. While attending Carthage College I majored in Computer Science with a minor in Entrepreneur Studies. Today in my life I utilize both of those skill sets I acquired in college. After schooling I found career opportunity in Madison, WI where I meet the Love of my life!
DIANE- Dohe -
I was born in Wausau, Wi to Jacqui Stoehr and David Dohe. Growing up primary in Wausau with my mom and dad/step-mom (Mary Dohe), I always enjoyed the outdoors with my family and friends and continue to do so today. I enjoy swimming both for sport and socially, even competing on the Varsity swim team all four years of high school. After high school, I left for basic training and advanced individual training where I got my certification as an EMT-B and medic in the Army National Guard. It is hard to believe that I have been in 12 years already! After one tour in Iraq, I completed my BSN-RN degree at Edgewood College and currently work at the Madison VA as a circulating nurse in the operating room. Little did I know one Sunday afternoon during my schooling my life would change forever!!!
OUR 
STORY
Who would have ever thought that a girl from northern Wisconsin would ever fall in love with a man from Chicago? We know it is hard to believe that two different upbringings would ever collide but once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale.
OUR FIRST MET
You know you are in love when you cannot fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams. That is exactly how our life has been every since that fateful afternoon in 2012. Over the years, we have learned to enjoy each other's company to the fullest. It seems like as life continues we are always busy which is why we believe it is important to cherish all moments together. Our hobby together has been riding our Harley around the area and seeing sites that we otherwise would have never explored. When we are out on the open road, we fall in love all over again.
OUR FIRST DATING
The first date that changed our lives forever. Leon was 5 minutes late as unusual to our Sunday after church date (Father's Day). Our souls connected the first time we met as though we already knew one another one. Leon requested a follow up date after brunch where Diane explained she had to work that Sunday evening. Leon assume that was her execute to get out of the first date but little did he know there were many more to come!
HE PROPOSED
Leon spend months planning when was the right time to proposed to Diane. Leon spend months keeping Diane out the loop of the planning phase of the Marriage Proposal. He asked Diane's father for her hand in Marriage. He searched for the perfect wedding ring so she could not reject his proposal :-). While on a Hawaii vacation Leon walked alone the beach with Diane and drop to one knee asking her to join a new life together as one under God's protection.

WHERE & WHEN

We will also be holding a reception in Madison, Wi on April 21, 2018 for all of our family and friends that cannot join us in January.
The Ceremony will take place on January 20 , 2018 in Rivera Maya, Mexico. We will be staying at the Now Jade Resort and Spa followed by Reception.
We hope you all can make it on our special day as we begin our new journey.
The price is for air out of OHare and accommodations and round trip transfer's. Unlimited food and drinks, 24 hrs free room service, round trip transfer's and all tips and taxes. All prices are based on double rate occp. and if there is a single rate, it will be much higher since it is based on double occupancy. If you are traveling alone we can match you with other individual who is attending. Also there only can be 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children per room.

CEREMONY
They say that true love can outlast the sands of time, and we certainly hope that is true! The ceremony will be on the beach front. So please come prepared with comfortable shoes and sun block. With the sun in our hair and the sea at our backs our lifelong journey will begin!
RECEPTION
The reception will follow the ceremony at the resort. Prepare yourself for dancing, laughter, food and drinks. Details will be updated as they are set.
On April 21, 2018, we would also like to invite all of our family and friends to a celebration in Madison, Wisconsin. We want all of our family and friends to come and celebrate in our home town and see where our love grew and where our future family will be started.
